Master Thibado started his TaeKwonDo training in 1976 while still in high school. A young man by the name of Van Loc had just moved from Vietnam and had learned TaeKwonDo in the military. The two became friends and Van Loc shared his interest and knowledge with Thibado. Soon after Thibado moved to Colorado and found Charles Sereff at the time 6th degree Black Belt, soon to become the first non-oriental to be promoted to master. By 1980 Thibado was teaching a branch school for Sereff TaeKwonDo. Moved to Florida in 1986 and opened a school in New Port Richey. Master Thibado has owned and operated a school continually for over 30 years now and has promoted more than 1000 Black belts. Thibado has travelled the world teaching, coaching and umpiring for World Championships.
